The news post is somthing I want to get into the habbit of doing each week when I post the comic up. It's something that Penny Arcade does and it works really well for them. Plus it gives me a chance to touch on some of the things that inspired us for the comic each week. I'll also have more incentive to mention the various hapenings that affect the ReBoot community.
John and I were finally able to get our hands on our very own Wiis. We camped outside a local Wal-Mart for eight and a half hours tuesday night and wednesday morning. We were 5th and 6th out of 21 people who actually got to buy a Wii out of 50 or 60 people who showed up.
John has been hogging my copy of Twilight Princess quite a bit these past few days and so I've been spending alot of time with Wiisports. I've read alot of stories on the interent about broken straps and smashed windows ot televisions sets, and after playing some of the Wiisports games that were responsible in most of these cases, my final conclusion is that those people are idiots. This is not to say that I myself have not gotten a little carried away while playing. On the contrary, I threw my arm out pitching fastballs when I tried it at the mall a few weeks ago. What I can't seem to wrap my brain around is how hard could it possibly be to hold on to the freaking controller? Penny Arcade offered their thoughts on the matter.
