First I'd like to say that today's comic was inpsired by actual events. John read a rumor on the internet (a rumor that was actually about Wal-Mart and Circuit City) that a bunch of stores saved a few dozen consoles from earlier shipments and that they were going to sell them on Dec. 3rd without announcing it. You know, so people didn't camp out over night to buy them. That combined with the fact that the clerk at EB said that they might possibly have some Wiis on the 3rd had John convinced that EB would most definatly have some. Well the rumor was true, about Circuit City anyway. People got wind of it and camped out anyway. While John and I were the only two idiots waiting outside EB games. The whole night John said "Don't worry they'll have some." We passed some of the time away by watching Pure Pwnage on my PSP. The rest we spent talking about stuff and just being bored overall. When a clerk finally showed up at 9:30 in the morning to start his shift I asked if they were going to have any Wiis to sell and he told me "No, Sorry!"

I would like to take this time to tell you all about a very wonderfull Charity run by the guys over at Penny Arcade called Child's Play. They've been doing this for a few years now and I have always managed to scrape up enough money to donate a game or two each year. I think it's really great that they are helping out sick children in hospitals all over the world by givng them games to play while they are stuck in the the hospital.
